Figured that now would be a good time to put this out there, since we are all in the final pushes of getting our events coordinated for 2015. I've long been thinking about getting custom wool jerseys made with the Cranksgiving logo, for organizers to wear year after year. They would be for 2016 and onwards.
Probably a seasonably-appropriate long sleeve, with the 'updated' Cranksgiving script logo in the center on front and back.
I've written an inquiry to Woolistic, as they do really nice chain-stitching. I have two of their jerseys they made for PA Randonneurs. However, the turnaround is absurdly long.
I've also written to Oregon Cycle Wear. They're an attractive option because they are domestic and have no minimum order.
I'll volunteer to take the lead in getting a design mocked up and finalized, getting them ordered, etc. I can collect via PayPal from interested parties, and ship them out once they arrive.
From what I have seen other custom orders go for, they will probably run somewhere between $125-150 when all is said and done. Steeper than a synthetic jersey, but obviously way cooler.
Here is the blank jersey. Oregon Cycle Wear #8 - "Hawthorne"
It might also be possible to get individual jerseys made for each city (i.e. adding "Philadelphia" or "New York City", etc. in the black bar), which I think would be a great addition.
Let me know if you're interested!

To make things a bit easier, I've made a Google order form:
http://goo.gl/forms/wgo5QNhaVU
If you could please check it out and fill in all information (even if you've already indicated above how many, what size, etc.) it would make things much easier to put an order together.
I'll close responses on December 4th. Once I have the final numbers, I'll calculate costs, and send a PayPal request to each of you individually. I am guesstimating $125 per jersey. If you could pay promptly, I can order the blank jerseys sooner, and we can all be that much closer to wearing them proudly. Not exactly sure on Spectrum's turn-around time but will update here with more info.
I think that's it! If you have any other questions, you can message me here or email (preferred) at charles.arayata@gmail.com.
Hey guys, I have a bunch of people interested in those first few comments (totaling 10+ jerseys), but only 3 people have filled out the Google Form.
I'd like to close the order window by this Friday, the 4th, so I will have sufficient time to collect payment, order blanks from Oregon Cycle Wear, and get the ball rolling for Spectrum to prepare the artwork before Christmas.
If you could please please fill out said Google Form ( http://goo.gl/forms/wgo5QNhaVU), would be much appreciated. Would hate for anyone to miss out this time around and then have to wait awhile for the next order (whenever that might be....?).
Opening up a second run in time for Cranksgiving 2016 events. Closing the ordering window on Friday, September 30th, 2016. Jerseys should be in people's hands by end of October/beginning of November.
Jerseys will be $115 this time around. Thanks to the few that placed orders for the first run!
Please fill out completely:

I think that starting next year, I am going to open up the jersey order to participants, and upcharge in order to give some proceeds to our food bank.
