In 2012, ActiveIndy Tours hosted the first Cranksgiving here in Indianapolis and had over 100 riders participate, making it one of the largest Cranksgivings in the United States in it's first year.  After acquiring ActiveIndy Tours earlier this year, Nine13sports has CranksgivingIndy is back on the schedule in 2019!

Riders will be given the locations of places in and around downtown Indianapolis where they will ride and gather food items that are carried back to the start/finish location and donated to a food pantry.  Locations are not announced until you arrive on-site and there is no predetermined route - or even an order in which you must visit the stops.  Best we can tell, you'll be riding ~10-15 miles - but ultimately it will be up to you!  Your mission is to figure out the best route to these locations, purchase the food item specified and bring your bounty of nourishment back to the start/finish area safely.

The start/finish location this year is Historic City Market, located at the corner of Alabama & Market streets.  We can't think of a better place to host an event that is about food - after all this location has served as our city's marketplace for nearly 200 years!
