We want to bring Cranksgiving to Ottawa! What is Cranksgiving? It is a food drive on two wheels. Part bike ride, part madcap scavenger hunt. All you need is a bicycle, a lock and a bag! This event is FREE, but you'll need $15-$20 to purchase food. Donations will support Cornerstone Housing for Women. Pedal, jog or walk the streets of our beautiful city as you search for specific items that make up a Thanksgiving dinner and beyond. Once you've collected all items and arrived at the finish, this feast will be donated to our city's most needy. Cranksgiving occurs in nearly 100 cities across the United States. In 2018, Toronto was the first city to bring Cranksgiving to Canada. This is the first in our city, and we hope to make this event successful in our Nation's Capital.
