Cranksgiving is a bicycle scavenger hunt and food drive, and these events take place across the nation during the month of November to benefit local charities as they prepare for Thanksgiving. The 10th edition of Cranksgiving Tampa will continue to benefit Metropolitan Ministries.

In 2020 amid a global pandemic that limited the size of our event, we still collected enough food and cash donations that resulted in 1,516 pounds of food, including 37 frozen turkeys, that was delivered to Metropolitan Ministries.

There is no entry fee for Cranksgiving Tampa, but please bring money to purchase food items during the scavenger hunt (approx. $10-$15). You will need to decide if you are riding in a team or on your own. You will be provided a list of food items to purchase, as well as specific grocery stores around Tampa where you'll be riding to in order to buy those items. After the results are tallied, all of the food is delivered to the Metropolitan Ministries holiday tent in downtown Tampa for donation.
